Welcome to the Embrace Website

Embrace is a small charity based in Norwich, which provides support to pregnant teenagers and teenage mums.

We have a number of project staff who visit young mums at home and offer practical help and support.

Our aim is to help teenage mothers achieve what they want from life.

My social worker suggested that we get in touch with Embrace. I thought I'd give it a go. I met Michelle (the Embrace Project Worker) when I was going for my scan. We got on well together and I felt ok with her. Michelle has helped me as it is someone looking out for me.

Sometimes you need someone to talk to. She has got kids and so she can give you advice and she understands. She doesn't judge you, she's there for support. Michelle has helped me get organised. She has helped me sort out my paperwork and shown me how to file things and get sorted.

It's the little things that you don't think of. Without Embrace I wouldn't have had that extra help. There wouldn't have been someone to pick up the phone when I needed advice. I think I would have got there slowly but having Embrace has given me a great boost. Embrace is a good organisation and should carry on its good work.
